APRIL 23, 2020 – Putin’s Puppet has made me a believer in . . . states rights. After all these years as an armchair liberal, champion of wasteful federal spending; confiscatory taxes; and bureaucratic invasions of my freedom, liberties, and privacy—not to mention my God-given right to board unworthy aircraft, drink polluted water, eat contaminated food, and drive 120 mph up the wrong way of the Interstate . . . after all these years, I’ve finally been jolted to my senses.
I feel like a former cult member, rescued from the compound, whisked off to a de-programming center. After weeks of FoxNews, Infowars, Drudge Report, and an over-abundance of thoughts and prayers, I’ve been saved from the clutches of reason, science, history, and unfavorable facts.
For years I’d been fooled into thinking Lincoln was a hero, slavery was bad, and that the South was never a worthy cause, lost or found. I’d been fed a pack of lies about America comprising united states, including the ones that hadn’t wished to be; that a house divided cannot stand; that irrespective of race, religion, or standing, everyone had equal standing before the law; that the hallmarks of our strength were pluralism fed by immigration and integration fueled by common interests; that among the common interests were universal literacy, a clean environment, good health and equal economic opportunity; that together, we’d be far more prosperous than we’d ever be in our parochial fiefdoms; that guns were for cowboys and frontiersmen, hunters and soldiers, not for an urban population in a modern civilization; that fact was fact no matter how loudly and often some nut job said it was “fake”—mainly because in a laissez-faire system, you can make a ton of money simply by being a nut job—or pretending so.
How was I so naive? How could I resist the big, blazing truth of “red, white, and blue” fluttering from the back of a double-axle, “Ram-Tough” pickup truck carrying its occupants to a raucous, rally in praise of ignorance?
Ironically, the man who would be dictator took a wrecking ball to the “dictatorship of government.” The shrapnel of his madness knocked me out—and to my senses. Now I see the truth: Lincoln was wrong; the South was right—the Civil War was a mistake.
But what’s this?! Attorney General Barr, the dictator’s henchman, threatens federal action against states who decide to “go it alone”?! He—Barr—has shown his hand, as the Naked Dictator himself has revealed his true colors. They are Communists in disguise! Truly they are puppets of Putin, whose ambition is to paint us, then the world, solid red. To this point, these red (and orange) men have baited and fed the oligarchs, the money mongers, the flag-wavers, the people of “thoughts and prayers.” Having co-opted those powerful interests, Putin and his marionettes are now poised to strike, and strike, they will.
We’ve been double-tricked by double-dealers. Government is bad, and red government is the worst of the bad.
Down with Communist Washington. Long live states rights!
